Well, I was thinking that you have Monty be the thick of the science. His powers bloom late, while he's already researching other people and while Simon's came early, they both knew he wouldn't be interested in fucking around in labs and whatnot and decided to run off and be a rockstar instead because that is totally what you do.

What my brain kind of did was, Monty gets found out and pulled into the lot that is getting tested. he is less than pleased by this and starts quietly fucking with stuff from the inside, since he knows how the science team operates. One of the girls is pulled into the pile as well and winds up helping while the other works iwth organizations on the outside to try and get them out.

There also may be a road trip in my head where in people travel to essentially safe zones and watch the world fall out of order. Think of it as a pre-dystopian story?
